Gate Rush — Small choices, huge breakthroughs
Gate Rush is a runner game where you race through 30-second sectors, picking the left or right gate to grow your squad. If your squad outnumbers the boss's defense at the end of a sector, you break through, choose one upgrade and move on to the next sector. Every sector raises the speed and the boss's defense, and new enemy attacks show up.

Controls
- Keyboard: ← → or A / D to move left and right
- Mobile: drag left and right on the game screen
- The game pauses automatically when you leave the tab
3 tips
- Don't just chase big numbers. × gates have a growth cap, so when your squad is small, a + gate is often the better pick.
- See a red dotted line and impact circle? Switch to the other lane. Dodge it and you earn bonus troops and points.
- From sector 3, some gate pairs are both bad. Picking the one that hurts less is what makes a record.
Enemy attack patterns
- Aiming drone (sector 1+): a red dotted line locks onto your lane. Dodge to the other side before it hits.
- Mine lane (sector 2+): a lane with red stripes on the ground explodes 0.9 seconds later.
- Laser sweep (sector 3+): a horizontal laser sweeps from one side to the other. Cross over to the opposite side as it passes.
- Midway ambush (sector 4+): AMBUSH! hits at 15 seconds. If you passed a good gate in the 3 seconds before, damage is halved.
- Split shot (sector 6+): two drones aim at both lanes one after another. You have to move twice.
- Boss counterattack (sector 8+): in the last 3 seconds, the boss aims at you directly.
